I Didn't Think I'd Actually Use It

I was invited to beta test EasyList before it launched and asked to give honest, unbiased feedback. I went into it pretty skeptical. I've tried enough software to know that most of it promises to save time but just gives you something else to learn.

For the first listing I prepared, EasyList gave me a starting point for the title, description, and tags, and I loved that my images stayed my images. EasyList composited my uploaded design into mockups without changing my artwork or generating a different product photo.

That mattered to me because I've seen enough strange AI mockups online. Crooked designs, weird artifacts, and images that don't even match the original file. I didn't want any of that in my shop.

The biggest surprise wasn't the mockups themselves. It was that I stopped putting off new listings. I'd finish a design and tell myself I'd list it tomorrow. Tomorrow had a habit of becoming next week.

Now I finish the listing while I'm still excited about the design, instead of leaving that last step for later.

Looking back, I almost skipped the beta because I didn't think EasyList would fit the way I already worked.

I'm really glad I gave it a chance.
